Questions about keeping your site running

What's included in website maintenance?

At minimum: managed hosting, SSL certificate renewal, uptime monitoring, and a set number of content update hours per month. Depending on your plan, you also get monthly performance reports, priority support response times, daily backups, and dedicated development hours for improvements or new features.

What if I already have hosting somewhere else?

No problem. I can migrate your site to my hosting setup as part of onboarding — I handle the transfer with zero downtime and you don't have to lift a finger. If you prefer to stay on your existing host, I can manage the maintenance from there instead.

Is there a contract or lock-in?

No contract. Cancel anytime with 30 days' notice. Your site, your content, and your domain always remain yours — I'll help you migrate everything cleanly if we ever part ways. No lock-in has been a core part of how I work from day one.

What happens if my website goes down?

Uptime monitoring alerts me the moment there's a problem — usually before any customer notices. I'll investigate and push a fix right away. Response priority scales with your plan: Basic clients get a reply within 4 business hours; Standard and Pro clients get same-day priority treatment.

Do you maintain WordPress sites?

Yes. If you have an existing WordPress site and want someone to keep it updated, secure, and running smoothly, that falls under the Basic or Standard plan depending on complexity. I prefer building new sites on modern, faster stacks — but I won't leave you stranded because of what you're already on.
